Marcelo Anez is a freelance, three time Grammy Award winning audio engineer with over 20 years of experience. His career began in Caracas, Venezuela, working with audio in the performing arts. That was followed by 12 years in the music industry, working in recording studios for the Latin pop market in Miami, FL. There, Marcelo had the privilege of working with an "A" list of producers and artists. He now lives in New York City where he has been able to put into practice his extensive experience in different fields of the entertainment industry. His work now also covers fields like sound design for theater, sound applied to art, audio post-production for TV, radio and independent films. Knowing that he can explore sound in these different fields helps keep his drive and energy fresh, always looking for new ways to grow. In his spare time, Marcelo likes to focus on his other passion, photography.
