ManhatPro Welcomes New Members
For the first time since 2008, the Manhattan Producers Alliance has added to its membership with the addition of award-winning recording engineer Marcelo Anez, singer-songwriter Chuck Callahan, and composer Doug Gibson.
Marcelo Anez is a three-time Grammy winner who has collaborated with a long list of international mega artists including: Gloria Estefan, Jose Feliciano, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin and Shakira. His recent work goes beyond music to encompass an array of cutting-edge theater and sonic art productions with innovative groups like New York’s 3-Legged Dog Art and Technology Center.
Chuck Callahan has had a career as an aerospace engineer, a Wall Street investment banker as well as a musician, singer and songwriter. Educated at Brown and Princeton, Chuck writes songs that are wry and insightful with lyrics like “I want to go shallow.”
Composer Doug Gibson has recently relocated to New York from Australia to pursue his career and add to his accomplished and eclectic body of work which includes film soundtracks, compositions for classical music ensembles, dance, theater, digital art installations and corporate projects. “ One of my strategies for success has been to model the career examples of those who are leaders in the field of music composition. To this end I have traveled to three continents and studied with nine composers whose careers I would like to have.”
On behalf of the entire ManhatPro community, We extend a warm welcome and best wishes for your success. We appreciate your interest in ManhatPro and hope you share our enthusiasm about your future with our organization.
